Our story

A dog, a bridge, a yes

It all starts with Pistache, our dog. He dragged Zoé to the Japanese bridge at Giverny, where Marius was drawing, badly, the water lilies. She laughed, he closed the sketchbook, and Pistache got two owners. Since then the sketchbook has filled up: Vernon, a rowing boat, a garden. The page for July 17, we are drawing with you.

From Paris, one hour

Train from Paris-Saint-Lazare to Vernon-Giverny in forty-five minutes, then shuttle or bike. By car, one hour via the A13, exit 16. Free parking in the meadow behind the barn.

Questions

Your invitation carries the names of your household. For an extra name, a word to Inès and we look at the seating plan.
Yes, he carries the rings at the town hall and goes to bed after the cocktail. He has his own bow tie.
The barn and the marquee shelter everyone, cocktail included. Spare rain boots wait at the entrance.
Nothing obliges you. Those already sleeping in Giverny will find us at Le Bon Maréchal on Friday evening, no set time and no booking.
Pistache would be delighted, but he will be the only dog invited: the barn, the marquee and the picnic by boat are not suited to it.
The last shuttle leaves at 2 am. The next day, the picnic starts at 12:30 pm, with no obligation to be on time.
