These windows are conventions, not rules: they come from the major wedding guides and our own articles. The right moment is still the one when your guests need to start planning.

How reliable is the calculation?
It applies the conventions in the table above to your date. They are guideposts, not rules: your caterer, your venue and your guests have the final say, especially on the RSVP deadline.
What if the wedding is less than four months away?
The usual advice is to skip the save the date: send the invitation itself as soon as the date and venue are set, with an RSVP deadline three weeks before the wedding.
Do we have to send a save the date?
Not always. It matters most when guests travel, on a holiday weekend or with a long guest list. For a small wedding close to home, the invitation is enough.
How do the email reminders work?
You leave your address and check the box, then confirm through the link you receive. We write to you a few days before each step, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Does a digital save the date change these dates?
Not the notice your guests need, but the time you need: it goes out the day you decide, with no printing or mailing. A design from our collection is delivered within 3 business days.
